With last year’s baseball season in the rearview mirror

But still trying for social distancing, we attended the Mariners drive through rally

A bit of car decorating and we were on our way.

We did get a better look at the player awards from last season than normal, and got close to the stadium.

But since we are still unvaccinated, we will not be attending Opening Day next week. Last year’s aberration aside, the first we have missed in decades. Carl used to pull the kids out of school with the “Mariner Flu”.

So this is as close as we will get for a while. We’re eligible to get the vaccine on the day before opening day, but that’s not the same as having an appointment.
