First – the Church. Not quite fire and brimstone. Just a bus.

The day was ended with a pizza. Papa John’s Jefferson City. They stay open until 10 PM. We got there at about 10:00, maybe 10:01. Since we had ordered ahead this was OK. “Bang on the door if you don’t see me.” I think we did this last year too. Looong work hours for the kid. And he is back there today. I don’t expect to get home much before midnight tonight.

Great photos–and you don’t look sweaty!! That church damage is going to be tricky to fix on that brick.

Matching the brick has been a topic of conversation at the church. Especially since the original brick maker is out of business. I suggested they should come up with a design or symbol that would allow you to not need to match so closely.

Like the Father’s Day event. Was that pre-game, or post-game?

It was a pre-game event. Carl wanted to throw. Rey was busy trying to make sure it got started OK. And in the end they threw for about 15 minutes. It has been very intense at Rey’s work, because they are hosting the All-Star game for the Southern League today. After the Gala last night, Rey seemed to visibly relax. Hopefully that means that everything is in place now, and it is just another game. Followed by a party at the park for both the players and the fans. Jay
