More of the same. Two ladder moves, one or maybe two more to go on our side.
And now, off to a Mariner game. They have been basically horrendous. I am hoping they will pull it together tonight.
This afternoon they unveiled a statue for Ichiro. And the bat bent. They are giving out smaller versions tonight and posted a revised version, complet with bent bat. At least they addressed it right up front, with humor.
Update: in the video clip before the game they showed the statue before it was covered, and the bat damaged when they pulled the cover off.
Our bobblehead giveaway looks like it will be relatively short. Carl’s saving a few to offer to the A’s bullpen catcher who is a collector. The rest are going to a co-worker whose son is collecting. Mind you there are still many in the house, and they keep arriving.

How disappointing that the Ms have been horrendous, especially after last season. I suspect the Seahawks might meet the same fate. Expectations are so high!

It’s hard when the start is bad. Not so-so, but bad. Even when we won last night it was not easy. I’ve been hearing things about Seahawk players here and there, but I don’t know what any of it means. I just wait for the new season to roll around.
