Dear Jay and Carl,
We are so very sorry for your profound loss. I remember Gene so fondly over the years. She was the first to tell me about the spotted knapweed, an invasive species in the beach grass. She was always such a resource for great book recommendations. And I so enjoyed the many discussions about their elder hostel trips that she and Harry would have with me as we walked down the beach. I will think of her walking down the beach when I am on my first beach walk this year. Be well, my friends. In deepest sympathy…
