Pruning from the neighbor’s side finally got underway. We only had an hour of real work, and it exhausted me. But it’s a start. Figuring out the setup took a while. And a break for some chai tea. And an adorable 11-month old put in an appearance. Measured in garbage cans we managed about two cans. More to come tomorrow.

John and I will probably take down my dead rhody this weekend and I’m not looking forward to it. I would rather pay to have it done, but my yard guy has been MIA.

The little 4″ chain saw we have was very helpful when I took down our dead rhody. I did pay a guy to dig out the stump, which included the lower foot or so of the bush.
