Everybody slept in a bit today, and then we stayed dry inside. Eventually we ventured to our friends house for a mini-jam of sorts. One of our Seattle friends and our visiting friend have noodled around with the guitar since they were much younger, and have been recently rekindling their love of the instrument.
In addition our Seattle friend has written songs at different periods in his life and is rediscovering these and bringing them back to light.
It was a most enjoyable afternoon.
It really was fun to hear Mark’s work, and to watch them play together. Chris did a great job following Mark’s lead and picking up the new music.

Our friends used to play guitar together and so did my late husband. (he wasn’t very good though) It sounds like a lovely indoor activity. I’m hoping to get out on a walk today. It was a little too windy yesterday.

I completely missed this earlier, I blame houseguests 😐
It was great and makes me want to learn how to play the guitar. I have one, but have never gotten going. And I can’t really sing very well.
