The bad news is the Mariners are still the only team not to have ever played in the World Series.
The only slightly good news is they were very, very close.
The good news is we were able to share our disappointment with friends over good food.
And now, back to our regular life for 2 weeks.

Some of my friends were so despondent they skipped the 1st World Series game. And baseball is their passion (one of them).
I have so much else going on that I am not dwelling on it.
