Spring?

Is it Spring?

Schools have been on Spring Break. Evidence – lighter than normal traffic.

There is baseball. And the baseball games are COLD. My set of clothes includes: long underwear, jeans, socks (sometimes wool), boots, long-sleeved t-shirt, sweater, light jacket, double jacket with a down inner and waterproof outer, scarf, knit hat, liner gloves, and driving gloves.

There are flowers.

Camellia droppings

The answer from this corner is now a resounding YES.

When my tulips start blooming it’s definitely spring. Now the weather just needs to warm up a little! Your baseball outfits sound substantial.

I am glad I had the layers on today because the light rail ride to the stadium today required  getting off and using a bus to bypass the UW station. It was about 20 minutes waiting in the rain for the bus. I think there was an unattended bag left in the station, so they shut it down.  I considered just heading home and skipping the game, but I had the lunch, and I couldn’t let Carl starve.

Spring has sprung! I like the new pictures, not the gnarly tree wasn’t interesting.

I have frequently thought of blogs, but just have been too busy lazy to get them up.The camellia is very pretty. And then there is the cleanup phase. The flowers tend to fall off whole, and can impact whatever happens to be underneath them when they fall.
