Big event of the day was the US Men’s National Soccer team playing a World Cup qualifying match against Panama.
There was a Mariner’s game going on across the street at approximately the same time.
Attendance at the Soccer Match = 40,000+.
Attendance at the Mariners Game = 10,266.
Both home teams won.
Both home teams had a shut-out.
Both games ended within 30 minutes of each other.
Lots of happy people in the streets.

Marquis wants to know which baseball team has the best record, as of now? Snark, snark, snark. 😉

You can only snarl as many times as games attended for that season.

I saw highlights of the game on Sportscenter this morning. wondered if you were there. Can Carl do a guest blog on the events at yesterday’s Dodgers game?

We saw the ESPN coverage. Bunch of A**h___ was Carl’s primary comments. But also that you don’t through at people’s heads. Greinke may not have started this particular brawl (his throw was apparently in retaliation). But it was the third person he has taken aim at this year, with at least one other brawl, so – not without some guilt in the game. Baseball fights are basically stupid – in my opinion.
