I can’t hear that, or even write it, without hearing the Saturday Night Live version with Jon Lovett as Picasso.
Carl & I went to see the Picasso Exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum tonight.
Picasso is undoubtedly a genius.
The shear number of different styles he could use was amazing.
There is quite an interesting assortment of pieces in this exhibit. They are on loan from the Musee Picasso in Paris, while that museum is renovated.
I will admit my favorites were the pencil and pen works. And the “studies” from which the large finished works arose. Thankfully we will be able to go back again – at least once more.

Our elementary school had an exhibit of Picassos last week! No, they weren’t originals, but they were high quality near life-size prints on cloth. They were hanging near the office (and the bathrooms opposite the office), so it was interesting to hear the kids’ comments as they waited to use the restrooms.
