Well, now it is 8:02
I have been at work for about 10 minutes.
It is about 25 miles to get to work.

1 hour and 3 minutes ago I asked Carl, “What time is it?”
“About 7.”

I need coffee.

    Why kids hate word problems!

    If J is traveling 25 miles to work, and it takes J 50 minutes to get there, how much coffee will J need to drink when she gets there? Let C = the amount of coffee. Write the equation and show your work. Don’t forget the units.

    1 pt for equation, 1 pt for shown work,
    1 pt for answer, 1 for units
