Where does the time go.
Ok – I basically missed Saturday, so Sunday has been an interesting mix of thinking it was still Saturday, but with Sunday schedules as well. I tried to tell Ashlan about the U-District Farmers Market (Saturday) while she was mentioning not needing to feed meters (Sunday).
Soccer Sunday was just that, in the glorious sunshine. We had substitutes – 3 of them, so for me it was much more relaxed. Ashlan and Stephi got to play their share, but I think the demands of finals week have left them a little more tired than they might have been otherwise. But that did not stop them from jetting out for ice cream and renting movies. (Ghost Town & Saved)
I actually remembered at basically the last moment that Ashlan is here today and gone tomorrow, with the car.
So – need to figure out how to get to work, basically for the entire week. I think I am going to buy my carpooler a tank of gas and see how far that gets me. I also need to stock up on bus schedules. I’ve only known this for a couple of weeks, and yet it is only on Sunday evening that I actually move to take care of things.

Mark occasionally has to work on Saturdays. As they are leaving work, his boss always says, “Thank you for coming in, and remember, you have your whole weekend ahead of you, while everyone else is halfway through theirs.” Ha, ha.
