weekend decsions

1. Do I go to work. Next week is full of meetings and I really need to finish a few projects.
2. If yes to one, which day. Saturday would get it out of the way. The forecast for Saturday is maybe rainy, a little bit, maybe. Sunday is supposed to be a little nicer. I am looking at the weather because I am hoping to get a long walk in, and hopefully convince Carl to join me. But since Sunday afternoon is the Superbowl, I would have a deadline set in the afternoon to be home by. This can be helpful for motivating me to get going.
3. What should we eat this weekend? This of course could reflect what we have in the house right now, or lead to a shopping adventure. Maybe that could be part of the walk.
4. Will the rest of my tax information finally arrive in the mail? Why is it the one that I really need to get is always the last to arrive.

Now for tonights decision. Should I wake Carl up and make dinner, or make dinner and hope the smell of cooking food will just naturally wake him up.

    i’m going to work tomorrow.

a (in) famous manager once told us after having us work saturdays for a very long time: “people, tonight, saturday night, you’re weekend is just beginning, everyone else’s weekend is half over.”

I will work today (Sat), but from home.
food – yeah – I definitely need a trip to the grocery store.
walk? could be. that will be weather dependent to a degree. I’ll have more opportunity for that tomorrow – the Super Bowl doesn’t come on until evening here. 😉

Mark left for work at 8:30. Seems doubly unfair that he has to work his sixth day in a row, since I only worked two days this week, which is how many days the students were in school. Tuesday and Wednesday were school days, and Friday was a Professional Development Day.

Oh, and I walked 3 miles yesterday, and got 9 miles in on the bicycle. I walked over to the Velocity Cafe and Cycle shop, where I left my bike for a tuneup last week after FrostBike. I did a couple of loop-do-loops in Forest Park before heading home.

Update – I am at work – arrived between 8:30 and 9:00. Have brought my timesheet up to date, scared our maintenance man (who works Tuesday-Saturday so he can have some alone time), and about to embark on a full day of reviewing and revising future sewer alignments for those areas of our District still served with septic systems. Woo-Hoo

Glad to see you got some miles in Pooh. Hopefully that is an indication that it is not as cold/snowy as last weekend.
