Art But Make It Sports

9/27/2023

Rey found this today on a Twitter X site he follows. I guess that means Carl and friends are old and should be studied. Like dinosaurs.

It did brighten the morning after the dismal game yesterday. And in spite of the Mariners dwindling hopes of making the playoffs, I spent a good part of the morning shifting money to MLB for playoff tickets, so we can receive a refund next month for games not played. All of them?

On the train again to tonight’s game. Carl just texted it was cold at our seats for the night. 3rd deck behind home plate instead of the outfield. And he’s the warm one. If they perform poorly early, I predict an early exit.

After all, we still have 3 more games to go.

That’s a shame about the Ms. During their season, my late husband would get excited, frustrated, hopeful and then mostly disappointed.

My husband is the emotional one for sports, and almost takes it personally. We are obviously not influencing the outcome, but keep wearing or change your outfit accordingly.
