A day away from work, so why not be merry. Still up early, and off to appointments and some merry drugs. Everything is fine and no worries, but the most entertaining part of the morning was listening in to other patients and nurses stories. You don’t have much of a choice, all being in the same room for a while. I just want to always be one with a good attitude. While the nurses said that people say all sorts of things under sedation (like singing Irish tunes), they said all I really did was smile a bunch. I guess that means I am a merry person underneath it all.

When Dan was coming out from under sedation having had his wisdom teeth pulled, he said, “mom, I love you, and oh, Heather too. They’re going to put me to sleep soon.” It was sweet and funny.
